Event Planning: This Baby Shower Is Modern and Sophisticated

We assume you’re all familiar with Max and Margaux Wanger? The beautiful duo behind Max & Friends? Yes, well, they’re having a baby boy in a few weeks (who will also undoubtably be gorgeous), and lucky for all of us, the ladies of Bash, Please threw them a sweet little shower to celebrate. It’s simple and perfect and really all that anyone needs to properly shower a mama-to-be with love. And pressies.

Nothing that screams BOY, but it’s seems like the little mister would feel right at home here.

Cute cake from Charm City Cakes West, no?

Love this idea for a baby shower game! And hey, if any of you have ideas, feel free to share in the comments. Bet M+M would appreciate it. And dreaming up baby names is such a fun way to pass the time.

Wedding Planning Special Touches: Invitations and Printing

It's the details that count in wedding planning, and I've selected some of our favorite wedding invitations and other printed wedding pieces as examples of how great wedding planners help their clients create a special mood, look, and feel for their special day. Here are some of our favorites, all taken from one of our favorite wedding blogs, 100 Layer Cake. Click on each photo for more details.
We love the looks given to these super-sharp invitations (see photo above and below) of a Bay Area wedding. It's a great idea to create a logo for the bride and groom and use it to embellish all the invitations and other printed materials. Event planning & design: Alison Events Planning & Design
The look of the wedding invitations (below) are romantic, and in perfect harmony with the romantic French garden wedding theme chosen for one of 100 Layer Cake's inspiration shoots. Stationery design: Paper Doll Printing

Cheree Berry Invitations - So Inviting!

If you're thinking of great wedding and event planning inspiration for the coming spring/summer season, look no further than 100 Layer Cake - one of our favorite wedding blogs. They cover a variety of weddings and feature top wedding vendors, from the best photographers to the best florists. The folks at "the Cake" take their wedding invitations and snail mail with a side of flair. A hot tangerine envelope liner, gold foil details, horn blowers (why not?), multi-colored confetti dots spilling out of envelopes, and bold stripes and patterns. There’s one place to get it all and that’s Cheree Berry Paper! If gold confetti could come flying out from your screen when we announced that, we’d make it happen. Yes, we get that excited when we talk about paper! And we’re even more excited to share her new designs with you! Just take a look at these suites – does it get any more fun than this?
