Wedding Planning Special Touches: Invitations and Printing

It's the details that count in wedding planning, and I've selected some of our favorite wedding invitations and other printed wedding pieces as examples of how great wedding planners help their clients create a special mood, look, and feel for their special day. Here are some of our favorites, all taken from one of our favorite wedding blogs, 100 Layer Cake. Click on each photo for more details.
We love the looks given to these super-sharp invitations (see photo above and below) of a Bay Area wedding. It's a great idea to create a logo for the bride and groom and use it to embellish all the invitations and other printed materials. Event planning & design: Alison Events Planning & Design
The look of the wedding invitations (below) are romantic, and in perfect harmony with the romantic French garden wedding theme chosen for one of 100 Layer Cake's inspiration shoots. Stationery design: Paper Doll Printing
A warehouse wedding in Chicago produced these wonderfully off-beat invitations (below), actually created by the bride and groom themselves (well, unfair advantage, as they're both artists). Letterpress: Steracle Press
Finally, we love the wedding invitations, menus, placecards from Posh-Paperie (below); these menus show a beautiful use of pastels and ribbons.

Thanks to 100 Layer Cake for their beautiful photographs, posts, and wedding and event inspiration. 100 Layer Cake is a unique, comprehensive wedding and event planning resource for and by thoughtful, crafty modern women. Their vendors, projects, weddings, resources, sponsors, and marketplace are hand-picked and thoroughly researched with the hope that every single one is a truly unique addition to both your wedding and your planning process. My wife and I used an amazing service from a girl local to us called Occasions By Jennifer. She made our save the date cards, day invites and Seating plan. Amazing and all hand made, all our family have kept them they are so nice. We nearly got her to make our thank you cards but we ran out of money which was such a shame I wish we had budgeted for them now.

Digitally printed invitation cards give a royal feeling of invitation to the person whom you invite. So adding the invitation cards digitally printed in your schedule would be a great option.
