Get Carried Away with a Wedding Color Theme
You can use just about anything as inspiration for weddings: TV shows (Boardwalk Empire, for instance, inspired countless Twenties themed events), venues (a strong venue, like a dude ranch, can naturally dictate the entire mood and theme for the day), and food (weddings have been inspired by cakes, picnics, potlucks, BBQs, and regional cuisine), to name but a few. I also think that color is a huge influencer on the theme of a wedding, setting the tone from invitations and reception decor to how the wedding party dresses. Here's an example of a "peach wedding" I found in the exceptional Real Life Weddings posted on one of our favorite wedding and event blogs, 100 Layer Cake. Click on each image for more photographs and information about the peach wedding, which took place recently in Australia.
