Luxury Jewelry from Out of Africa
What do Barack Obama, Kate Middleton, and JK Rowling have in common? (This is a toughie!)
Give up?
They're all fans of Patrick Mavros and his luxury designer jewelry. Our featured video focuses on Mavros as he describes his firm's creative process, creating cast silver and gold home goods, tabletop accessories, and jewelry (they even have a furniture line). His inspiration is taken directly from his native Africa, and there are Patrick Mavros outlets in Harare, London, and the vacation island paradise of Mauritius. Click here to explore his dynamic Women's Jewelry Collections (see photo above for pieces from his Crocodile and Crocodile Skin groups).

The detailed wok is amazing and the story about how this business came to be is so inspiring. No wonder Obama and the rest patronize the pieces.
I absolutely love your post about Luxury Jewelry from Out of Africa. Over the years my wife and I have established giving love and light to our handmade silver jewelry pieces. I believe with more and more people around the World loving more and fighting less, we will eventually evolve.
Again, excellent info!

The virtual safari on his news page is quite fascinating. On another note, I just found your blog recently and commented a couple of days ago. But I wanted to tell you that I really like how you bring out the art in jewelry and fashion. Design really is an artistic expression, and I enjoy reading the artistic facet of it on your blog.

Because of your blog. I am starting to love the jewelry from Africa. Thanks for making this blog, it was a big help on me.
African Jewelery has really come of age-the artists are more creative as Patick Mavros. Mention any raw material and the artisans will make the design for you...doesn't matter if it is gold, silver, paper, soapstone anything at hand is as good. featuring such works is an inspiration
wow, the centre is a killer. Very sentimental piece of an true African wilderness-umbrella like tree, the animals...Great Art
Nice article! It will me more chose what I will buy and What I will select for me.
African jewelry is an ancient and time honored art form that reflects the art of African heritage and history. There are several artistic, religious, spiritual and cultural elements of African heritage visible in each uniquely crafted piece of jewelry.
