TV's Most Beautiful Interiors - Part 2

(Living Room from Ringer)Last time, we discussed one of tv’s most beautiful interiors - a loft-style apartment found on the set of Bones. I discovered another gorgeous interior – on the set of Ringer, a television show about double identities and murder, starring Sarah Michelle Geller.

Ringer is set in a New York City high-rise apartment and thanks to the design skills of Steven Wolff, it’s a feast for the eyes.  Drawing upon the background of the storyline, Wolff created a very elegant and sophisticated design for New York socialites Siobban and Andrew Martin’s home.  For the living room, Wolff started with a lively striped-pattern fabric (seen in the settee above) and took those colors of cream, wine, and ochre and extrapolated it, applying the colors to the rest of the spacious living room. The space has a mix of oversized, comfy seating as well as the more formal lines of the settee and armchairs.  Creamy marbles – found in the console table on the right and the coffee table – give the room its luxurious feel.

(Living Room from Ringer)Wolff contrasted this bright living room with the darker setting of the den for the husband, Andrew Martin.  The den has a more masculine feel – with chocolate walls and brown-pattern and burgundy upholstered seating.  The furniture is an eclectic mix of the heavier colonial-style – as shown in the desk - and contemporary styles, reflected in the sofa, armchair and coffee table.  To prevent the room from feeling too heavy and dark, lighter touches were added – as in the rugs, curtains, and the curvaceous French canopy chair – partially hidden behind the brown-and-white patterned armchair.  This chair is available from Artistic Frame – see below.  Modern abstract paintings add the sophisticated finishing touch to the room.

Oh look on that gorgeous chair. I really love it. It is simple but eye-catchy at the same time. Where can I get the chair anyway?
I do love my place but whenever I see interiors like these it feels like a mess. Hopefully one day I can have an interior like 'Ringer'
