Escaping for the Holidays

(St. James, Paris)While getting together for the holidays with family and friends may be warm and festive, you might just need a little R&R away from it all.  Perhaps an escape to one of these beautiful resorts will rejuvenate you to face the new year.

We took a look at some incredibly designed hotels (of course!) and found these eye candies from around the world. Paris is always a romantic destination and St. James hotel in Paris will not disappoint those desiring a romantic tryst.  The guest rooms are luxuriously designed with glamorous fabrics and materials. If you ever dreamed of living in a chateau, then book a stay at the St. James.

(Las Ventanas al Paraiso, Los Cabos, Mexico)If warm breezes on a beach is more your idea of an escape, then ogle Las Ventanas al Paraiso in Los Cabos, Mexico.  The windows to Paradise resort is aptly named as it borders the ocean on the Baja Peninsula.  The resort is designed in a relaxed Spanish hacienda style with intricately carved woods and ironwork.

For those where wining and dining is the ideal R&R, then escape to the Napa River Inn in the tranquil wine country of Napa, California.  The guest rooms have the cosy feel of a bed and breakfast but with the size and luxury of a resort hotel.  Each room is uniquely designed with beautiful prints and comfortable armchairs and beds.

I think the Napa valley and San Francisco is the place my wife and I would truly love to visit. I understand there is a famous restaurant called the French Laundry lcoated in Yountville, California, in the Napa Valley. The chef and owner of the French Laundry is Thomas Keller.

Its said our top chefs in England to be the best of the best.

Nice blog. About 91 percent of visitors said in the review that leisure was the major cause for travelling to Napa Valley. And they’re not just travelling to one time a year, the facts and figures showed.

I suggest trying Napa Valley and San Francisco. It seems like you're into luxury and if so, there are some brand new ways to travel via private plane. Try an AirCruise and visit destinations like wine tasting in Sonoma, San Francisco and more all in the luxury of a private plane. Check it out: http://www.mauivaaircruise.com
