Kitchen Remodeling in the New Year

We're remodeling our kitchen over the winter holidays, and our family probably won't be able to cook a proper meal again until later in February. What about your kitchen ... or your client's kitchen? Are you happy with its present style, range of appliances, countertops, flooring, task lighting, and seating? My sister the real estate broker just told me that she sold a client's home and they bought it based on her fab kitchen design - it was a simple black-and-white kitchen with crisp black marble countertops and a black-and-white checkerboard floor. Although the kitchen was done 10 years ago, it looks fresh and appealing.

I liked the following House to Home video because it gives not only great country kitchen design ideas, but it also gives you a template for how to think about any kitchen style, from country chic to streamlined Euro modern.

As lead curriculum developer for Sheffield School, I wish you seasons greetings and a decorative and healthy 2012. If you're interested in learning more about home decorating and design, then I encourage you to explore the Sheffield School, New York, NY. Sheffield began as an Interior Design school in 1985, and then expanded our course offerings to train people in other design-related fields, including Feng ShuiWedding and Event Planning, and Jewelry Design. With thousands of active students and more than 50,000 graduates, Sheffield has trained more design professionals than any school in the world.

The kitchen is one of the significant places in your house that requires interior designing. Whether you employ an interior designer or you intend to do the job yourself, careful planning is always important in order to achieve the looks and the effect that you want for your kitchen. Tips you mentioned here will be very useful for every interior lovers. This is not to say that all interior design elements should be the same but they should work together and complement each other to strengthen the whole composition. It doesn’t matter whether you have a big space or a small one. With a bit of creativity you can convert an ordinary kitchen to an extraordinarily beautiful kitchen.
Kitchen countertops made of granite tiles are an extremely good solution for anyone who wants to have a sophisticated and elegant atmosphere in their kitchen while still having privacy and warmth.

You have got me thinking now about my kitchen! I would love to redesign and knock down a dividing wall that we put up 10 years ago, it just doesn't work how I wanted it to!! So maybe 2012 is the year for change!! I'd love to go for somthing really modern and the black and white one you show above is gorgeous but not sure it would fit in my Victorian house?

One of the best places to invest is in foreclosure and bargain residential real estate.

Those are really great looking kitchens. I'm looking forward to a pretty big Austin kitchen remodeling for my house there. I'm going to go for the more contemporary style like the black and white kitchen above.
