Time for Sprouting Green

For those who still think eco-friendly products are just not stylish enough, we have the watches to appeal to your inner fashion critic.  Sprout watches come in a multitude of colors, some with fun designs on its face. 

(Photo: Sprout Watch)But best of all Sprout watches uses at least 80% recycled materials. The watch case above is made of corn resin which is 99% biodegradable. The watch lens is made from mineral crystal rather than plexiglass.  Since mineral crystal is a type of glass which is really just sand, the lens can be recycled. The watch face is made from bamboo – an easily renewable plant - or from mother- of-pearl.  The strap is made from certified organic cotton – cotton that is grown without use of pesticides and synthetic fertilizers.
